De Breed & Partners, the consultancy firm for innovation financing, has opened a new office in Antwerp. It is the company’s first international office, as it already has three offices in the Netherlands. The new office is conveniently located at De Keyserlei, opposite the Central Station of Antwerp.
The logical next step
In the Netherlands, DB&P already provides consulting services towards Dutch entrepreneurs for the past 35 years, from their offices in Amsterdam, Breda and Eindhoven. The next logical step was to expand their business to Belgium. By opening an office in Antwerp, DB&P will start assisting Belgian companies as well as improve their services towards Dutch companies with Belgian offices.
Similar to companies in the Netherlands, Belgian companies can request subsidies issued by the government. However, there are also a lot of differences between the two countries that impact DB&P’s business. DB&P consultant Sydney van Bokhoven is prepared for this, “We are aware of the country-specific differences related to not only financing structuring, but also to the style of doing business and communication. I’m happy to say that, with our in-house expertise, this is not a problem.”
De Breed & Partners
De Breed & Partners aims at financing innovation with a mix of company dependent forms of financing. In the past 35 years, the company has assisted clients who lack the expertise necessary for success in innovating. DB&P supports companies with subsidy applications and offers active leadership in the managing of the personnel costs.
