Banking Circle, a global B2B banking services provider, is up for the top prizes in the payments and financial inclusion categories. The outfit’s Banking Circle Virtual IBAN received the payments nomination, while the company itself is in the running for the financial inclusion category. Results will be announced on 23rd May at a dinner and ceremony in London.
Anders La Cour, co-founder and CEO of Banking Circle, commenting on these nominations, noted that the company kicked off 2019 in excellent fashion with many award wins and nominations, “but it is a considerable honour to be recognised in these important categories, by an organisation as respected as the Financial Services Forum”. He goes on to remark:
“Banking Circle is dedicated to increasing financial inclusion by providing previously excluded businesses with access to essential lending, banking accounts and cross border payments. To be recognised for this work through this nomination is testament to the hard work of our entire team.”
Placing innovation front and centre, the Financial Services Forum Product & Service Innovation Awards highlight financial services companies that have significant impact on and empower customers and providers.
