Meet the start-ups redefining the fintech & cybersecurity space

Startupbootcamp FinTech & CyberSecurity, the first global startup accelerator focusing on FinTech and CyberSecurity, announces 11 international startups and 1 scale-up, that will take part in its 2018 program in Amsterdam. The selected startups have taken part in Selection Days on 27th and 28th of September at B. Amsterdam coworking space, where 21 teams participated in an intense screening and evaluation process in front of over a hundred and fifty mentors and partners, and the managing team at Startupbootcamp. The top 21 companies were chosen out of 500+ applications from 73 countries internationally during a 4 month application period when they went through a thorough selection process for their chance to join the next accelerator cohort. It was also announced that a scale-up will be joining who will directly benefit from the strategic partners from the program. The teams will now go through an intense 3-months acceleration program in Amsterdam, starting off on 30th of October and ending with the Demo Day in front of hundreds of startup and tech influencers, mentors, partners, and investors on 8th of February, 2018. They will be mentored by a network of more than 1000 entrepreneurs, top executives, and investors. They will also receive free office space, €15K of seed money, and support from Startupbootcamp partners, such as Rabobank, ING, ABN AMRO, Moneyou, PGGM, De Volksbank, Achmea, Nationale Nederlanden, PwC, Vivat, Capgemini, Comsec, and de Nationale Politie, as well as over €500.000 in partners service and access to a network of 1000+ Angels and VCs internationally for potential further investment opportunities. Selected teams are:

  • Abroaders (USA) Get the right card, earn the right miles, and save on travel. Abroaders compares the best options with both paid flights and award flights (using miles).
  • Dolphin Blockchain Intelligence (Russia) Provides investors with quick and high-quality risk and profitability assessment of crypto-asset investments.
  • FinCom (Israel) Proprietary technology which enables compliance for KYC onboarding, Anti-Money Laundering & GDPR that works even if names are misspelled or in another language.
  • Gyomo (USA) Prevent phishing by educating clients and staff via crowdsourcing, machine learning, and gamification.
  • Hatch Money (Great Britain) Hatch is a smart bank dedicated to the self-employed.
  • KlippaCast (Netherlands) Makes receipt purchasing data as accessible as online banking.
  • OpSeeker (Spain) Offers an online financial planner to teach retail clients to manage their money more effectively.
  • Penstable (Denmark) Pension products tailored to individual risk and return needs, investing exclusively in impact and sustainability projects, all at a low cost for the client.
  • Stampwallet (Curacao) Make loyalty transactions affordable and easy to implement for B2C & B2B2C.
  • Vision Tech Lab (Portugal) Software used by system administrators to detect, deceive, manage and monitor attacks in company networks using Deception technology and Artificial Intelligence to analyze the attacker’s behavior.
  • Westgate (Great Britain) Software that makes robust encryption, strong authentication and data privacy available to everyone via a secure VPN.
