Last week, Holland FinTech member Moneyou announced its partnership with Bankable, innovative payment solution provider and digital bank. The news underlines a new step for the company towards the status of digital challenger bank.

Moneyou is a saving account provider, subsidiary of ABN Amro, counting more than half a million customers and renowned for its customer-focused approach. Bankable, digital bank, offers solutions such as e-wallet and payment card appreciated for their rapidity.

The partnership between the two companies will allow Moneyou to use Bankable’s e-wallet and card technology in order to launch a full product portfolio targeting millennials in the Netherlands and Germany. Moneyou’s COO Theo van Bon stated that “the platform we are building with Bankable enables us, in a pioneering style, to develop new ways of banking”, focused on the customer’s wishes.

This partnership illustrates the prevalence of a customer-centred strategy in the banking industry, main focus of our member.
