As an Account Manager, you embody one of our most important selling points: personal support of our customers. You are in daily contact with business owners to offer advice and contribute to their success. You’re part of a great team together with your colleagues in Sales, collaborating with other teams across the company, learning a lot every day and getting to know our business model in depth.
As an Account Manager, you will:
- Be responsible for creating new, life-long business customers of Funding Circle
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with a variety of business owners that are applying for business finance
- Provide best-in-class account management throughout the entire process of a customer’s application
- Use your ambition, drive and excellent communication skills to close loan agreements, achieve targets and directly contribute to the success of the company
- Work collaboratively with our local and international teams to achieve the best results for yourself, the local teams and the company globally
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Passion and perseverance – we are looking for future teammates who are driven and motivated to succeed
- Minimum HBO level education and 1+ years in a sales or customer facing role*
- Excellent communication skills (in Dutch and English)
- A great phone manner, assertiveness and the ability to persuade
- A team player attitude – this will be essential for you to excel in our fast-paced environment
*Prior sales experience and a finance background is a plus although not essential. We hire account managers with varying levels of experience.
