Who we are looking for.

We’re looking for a Dutch/English speaking Sales Development Representative Intern to help build out our member base in Europe and provide our BD Team with a healthy pipeline of new prospects. You’ll take the time to understand more about the businesses you speak with (how they work, growth plans, challenges, their experience in innovation), and identify their needs and pain points. You are currently finishing your bachelor’s or master’s degree and looking for an internship for at least 3 days a week. You’re also more than welcome to do your thesis/final project with us.


What you will be learning/doing:

You will learn the basics of sales, f.i. how to handle common objections through a mixture of theory and practical training, pipeline management and closing deals. You’ll also be on the front lines of our new lead generation efforts, testing new lead sources and data, cleansing cold data lists and following up on targeted marketing campaigns, enabling us to exceed ambitious growth targets.


In short, you’ll be:

  • Tracing companies within our target audience.
  • Identify the correct account information and contacts within this target audience.
  • Qualifying all sales leads based on specific criteria.
  • Networking on Fintech related and other events.
  • Contribute to all important parts of the sales cycle (reporting, data management, correspondence and communication).
  • Contacting and engaging with our prospects, ranging from small fintech startups to large financial institutions.
  • Building up an extensive network and business knowledge in Fintech.
  • Gaining an understanding of the wide variety of companies in the financial market.
  • Assisting in campaign and communication optimisation when needed,


Who are you?

  • You are driven, results-oriented, disciplined, and get a buzz from achieving targets.
  • You are resolutely customer-focused and recognise the importance of truly understanding what matters to customers.
  • You have good verbal and written communication.
  • You have excellent time management skills and set the right priorities.
  • You have some experience dealing with customers, if you have previous sales experience (especially in SaaS environment) that’s a definite bonus!
  • You work well independently while also thriving in a strong team environment
  • You like getting feedback and continually look for ways to better yourself and your performance
  • You have a passion for learning and working in the Fintech industry excites you.
