Ant Financial no longer – Jack Ma’s financial Alibaba affiliate financial services group Ant Financial has gained regulatory approval in China to change its name to Ant Technology Group Co. Although a name change might seem minor, this is part of a larger strategy to reposition Ant as a global tech company that supplies solutions to a range of providers, including those in the financial sector – seeing as more than 60% of jobs occupied at Ant are more tech related than finance.
