As the open banking era is just in its early stages, it is key to understand where it’s heading. While PSD2 has stimulated a lot of innovation in this space, there is still a lot of work to be done. Market participants are faced with increased customer expectations when it comes to financial services as well as regulatory pressures.

Questions like, does PSD2 open up the market or bring new barriers to entry due to regulatory constraints? What are the major roadblocks to Open Banking? Should there be any exemptions on SCA? How should PSD3 look like? Are ever more relevant for the whole Open Banking value chain.

In this workshop, we will be addressing the most pressing challenges when it comes to open banking in an interactive environment with great moderators from Holland FinTech and industry experts from Isabel Group. The goal of the event is to generate insights into where the industry will be heading after PSD2.

Flow of Event

The event will start with very brief presentations from the moderators. After that, the participants will be divided into small groups of 5 to discuss two pre-assigned questions related to the future of open banking post PSD2.

Participants will have one 40-minute session to come up with a short presentation to try to answer the two questions that have been assigned. At the end of the breakout sessions, one appointed representative per group will be sharing the insights to the whole group that came as a result of the discussion. Discussions within the breakout sessions will be facilitated by the moderators participating in the session.
