Calling all Dutch FinTech startups to Participate in the StartupDelta FinTech bootcamp NYC, April 2015
DutchBasecamp, Holland FinTech and the Consulate General of the Netherlands in New York are encouraging FinTech startups and corporates from the Netherlands to apply for the first-ever StartupDelta FinTech bootcamp NYC April 2015, a four-day intensive introduction to New York City from April 6-9, 2015. During this program, available only to Dutch early stage FinTech startup founders and executives from leading Dutch companies, participants will have the opportunity to become immersed in New York’s FinTech community, meet top investors, successful tech companies and the best service providers. Participants will be empowered with education, resources and several key connections to help build up a network and potentially expand their business to the U.S.
One of the highlights of the StartupDelta NYC FinTech bootcamp is the FinTech Startups Conference, the annual one-day event that focuses on the new influential, disruptive and innovative technology companies that are redefining financial services globally. The key objectives of this four-day program are to promote and introduce the Dutch Financial technology community to leaders in the NY financial services sector and influential US technology investors. This program aims to help you make connections to leading startups, Fortune 500 executives and industry thought leaders in NYC. It will also expose you to best practices of leading US businesses, specifically in enterprise sales and marketing.
Prior to your visit to New York, a kick-off meeting in the Netherlands will be organized for the participants. This includes a pitch prep session and presentation feedback.
The program is organized by DutchBasecamp and Holland FinTech in partnership with the Consulate General of the Netherlands in New York. Please note that startups can also apply for “mission vouchers” from RVO to compensate for most of the costs of this program. The application is open untilFebruary 23 and participants will be selected from applications. There is space for up to 10 companies to qualify for this competitive program.
Preliminary program StartupDelta FinTech NYC bootcamp:
- Kick-off meeting Mid-March 2015, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
- April 5: Arrival in New York, NY: welcoming Cocktail.
- April 6: Day 1 in New York, NY: Intro to the NY tech and finance communities, startup sales strategy and pitch prep
- April 7: FinTech startups Conference, Webster Hall, NYC: program can be found here.
- April 8: Capital introductions, meetings with FinTech venture investors, investor seminar and pitch night.
- April 9: Wall Street breakfast at top financial services firm, meetings with top financial technology companies.
The package covers one-on-one meetings, networking activities and workshops, most food and drinks and participation in the Fintech startups conference.
The cost of one person participation is EUR 1,800 for startup founders and EUR 2,100 for corporate executives, and additionally EUR 200 of EUR 500 for one extra person per company. The latter is only possible for the first enlisted 5 companies of the selected participants. Startup founders can reduce the cost by applying for (SME) mission vouchers at RVO.nl, that might cover up to EUR 1,500.
