Crypto Options Trader

As a Crypto Options Trader at IMC, you will be trading crypto options and be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing our crypto options trading strategies, algorithms and system around the clock. You will join an experienced team of traders active globally that trade various strategies within the Crypto space. This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll be working cross-functionally with quants and developers on data-driven analysis, quantitative modelling and algorithm development.
Your Core Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and enhance trading models, algorithms and systems
- Trade crypto currency options
- Manage execution and risk of complex trading portfolios
- You will be constantly enhancing your strategies to improve the quality of trades, pinpoint missed opportunities, and identify new trading ideas and products
- Research new market opportunities
- You will have lots of responsibility and ownership early on to drive strategies forward and be successful
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineers to understand and improve technical infrastructure
Your skills and experience
- BSc, MSc. or PhD in quantitative field
- 1+ years of experience in trading crypto options
- Demonstrated knowledge of the crypto space
- Experience in coding is desirable (Python, C/C++, Java, Matlab, SQL)
- Entrepreneurial mindset, healthy risk appetite, competitive by nature and fast decision maker
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Desire to work in a team environment
