Our Advisors Client Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard’s rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Mastercard Advisors works with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.
The Advisors Client Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Strategy & Transformation consultants lead clients through impactful decision-making as they tackle strategic, tactical, operational, and transformational business challenges. Make an Impact as an Associate Managing Consultant!
An Associate Managing Consultant in our team:
• Generates key hypotheses and independently structures workstreams for large, strategically important regional and global clients
• Oversees the day-to-day work of the project team, identifying creative and useful analyses to address client problems, synthesize analyses into clear, sound recommendations, and create effective, impactful storylines and slides
• Identifies client challenges beyond the day-to-day work with a client and develops structured solution approaches to address these challenges
• Is responsible for building strong relationships with mid-level client management and independently assessing client agenda, internal culture, and change readiness
• Supports to scope and secure new client engagements
Experiences & Qualifications we are looking for:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Experience in a consulting organization working as a consultant for at least 4 /5 years
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing in English & Italian
• Proven track record in analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills and ability to structure analyses to provide key insights to our clients
• Experience directly managing multiple people across multiple workstreams
• Demonstrated ability to build trust-based relationships with both junior- and senior-level client contacts
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint skills required
• Exposure specifically in the financial services industry preferred, but not a must
