Popular money transfer service Transferwise, which recently launched account services in multiple currencies has announced that it now holds 2 billion GBP in deposits. This comes on the heels of year on year adoption by millions of users, primarily expats, travelers and freelancers who move locations frequently. To celebrate this milestone, TransferWise annoucned a new feature: “TransferWise customers with a multi currency account will now be able to send domestic and cross-border transfers instantly between themselves, in more than 50 currencies, using just a mobile number.”
