20 Sep 11.23. - 24. London Fintech Bootcamp
Amsterdam-based startups looking to expand to the UK are invited to apply for the London Fintech Bootcamp 2016, a two-day intensive program to introduce Amsterdam based startups to the startup scene in London and the UK. The bootcamp is organised by StartupAmsterdam in collaboration with Holland Fintech and Holland UK trade.
Learning and Goals in London:
Participating startups will gain valuable information from experts, lead users and peers on a soft landing in London, and learn how to expand and scale their companies in the UK market. StartupAmsterdam will provide an introductory program into the startup ecosystem of London including:
- Workshop on soft landing in London/the UK (including advice on legal/recruitment/financial practices)
- Networking opportunities and one-on-one meetings with UK launching customers and organizations in the fintech sector
- Business development and Marketing/PR session
- Cultural differences
- (Investor) Pitch
Included in the London fintech bootcamp:
- a customized business development program in London, including meetings with senior business leaders in London’s fintech industry
- Legal services and recruitment services
- Introductions to European VCs
Who can apply?
- Innovative startups that are actively looking into UK and European expansion
- Preferably Amsterdam-based and in the fintech sector
- With the minimal criteria of a product/market fit and positive metrics in growth and conversion.

Costs: StartupAmsterdam will cover the costs for one person per startup for the two-day bootcamp
