22 Apr Daalder launches new fundraising campaign
Amsterdam based mobile payment start-up Daalder has launched its fundraising campaign to finance, reclaim and maintain its top 10 position in the list of most downloadable financial apps in The Netherlands. Daalder offers a mobile payment system that easily integrates with cash registers and allows anyone with a smartphone to pay with the Daalder app. Daalder app was launched last year and can be downloaded via Google Play Store and Apple AppStore. The mobile app has become very popular amongst the people since its launch and has close to 5000 active users. In the last 6 months, more than 16000 transactions have been done using the app.Currently, the app is focussing on children, students and their parents (via parking feature). For children as well as adults conscious spending and budgeting is a very important subject. Daaldar Pay helps them with the built-in smart features and its approach supports users to spend money consciously with real-time insight. Parents like giving their children ‘digital pocket money’ and also can have real-time insight on the expenditure done by their children. Parents can also quickly, safely and remotely charge the e-wallet of their kids.
From the current funding round, Daalder is aiming to raise € 100,000 which will help in maintain their position in the top 10 most downloadable financial apps in the Netherlands. They are also aiming to grow their user base to 30,000 active users by July 2016 and 100,000 active users by December 2016. The current funding round is launched on LeapFunder and the supporting documents for making an investing decision are present on the portal. Invite code: Daalder1 can be used if requested.
