FINNOVASIA organizes its second accelerator program in Hong Kong starting in January next year. The three month program has a tailor made curriculum focussing on business strategy, fundraising and mentorship. Both early stage start-ups and scale-ups are invited to apply for the program before the deadline on October 20th.
The first installment of the program last year has been a major success with alumni including Funding Societies who raised $7.5 million from Sequioa Capital for its development of a P2P lending platform, and MicroCred who secured $71 million in capital investment for its expansion in China. This year, FINNOVASIA has partnered with Standard Chartered and Fidelity International.
The roadshows SuperCharger used to recruit talent have attracted over 90 start-ups and 500 industry experts. The final roadshow which is planned in Hong Kong will pool more local and global fintech companies.
