Last month the ING Innovation Studio completed its second acceleration cycle in which three internal teams and three start-ups graduated from the program creating solutions in the Fintech landscape. 2 out of the 3 start-ups that graduated last month will begin a pilot with ING and the internal teams will continue developing their propitiation with ING.

The Innovation Studio will be inviting applications from 18th April for its third acceleration cycle. The last date of receiving the applications is 27th May. The applicants will have to make a pitch on 28th July to the panel which will consist of venture capitalists, internal managers and mentors. Based on their innovative ideas and pitch, the shortlisted start-ups will move to Amsterdam for a six-month program at the ING Innovation Studio. During the program, the start-ups will validate: customer problems, solutions and a minimal viable product.

The Innovation Studio is a corporate accelerator, where start-ups and intrapreneurs work on innovative and disruptive ideas. The Studio offers start-ups everything they need to grow their company in the form of mentoring and funding for a minority stake in the start-up.

Following services are included in the Studio:

- Funding: The Studio invests a minority stake in return of part of equity in the start-up. This results in common interest in being successful.

- Workshops in Lean Start-up, Design Thinking and Growth Hacking

- Access to experts from internal business units with ING expertise in important areas (payments, risks, legal) but also from external mentor with additional expertise in funding, growth hacking, customer intelligence.

- Students who are able to support start-ups and teams with their design skills

- Access to extensive network from internal business units and external organization for leads, introductions, information, partnership etc.

- Very collaborative and creative working atmosphere

The third acceleration cycle will kick-off on 5th September later this year.

About ING Innovation Studio

ING Innovation Studio has a six-month program in which new start-ups move to Amsterdam for a six-month period. The Studio offers start-ups everything they need to grow their company in the form of mentoring and funding for a minority stake in the start-up.
