22 May ING, Rabobank & ABN AMRO join Holland FinTech

Amsterdam, 22 May 2015, Don Ginsel

Today it was announced that the three leading banks in the Netherlands, ABN AMRO, ING and Rabobank have joined Holland FinTech as member. This is a clear signal that the financial industry in the Netherlands is fully aware of the potential of FinTech and the need to learn and interact with technology companies in an international perspective. The membership is supported at board level in all three organisations and much welcomed by Holland FinTech.

The membership was announced at Startup Friday, an event organised by ABN AMRO and StartupDelta - the “Netherlands ministry of startups” headed by Neelie Kroes. The event was dedicated to Corporate Launchpads - sharing experience on corporate startup co-operation, which fits well with Holland Fintech’s mission to join forces in FinTech.

This brings the number of members of Holland FinTech over 50, ranging from FinTech startups to seasoned tech companies, and from small financial or legal advisory firms to large accountancy and consulting firms and financial institutions. Holland FinTech aims to bring them all together on an international marketplace for financial technologies.
