2015 has been a great year for Mollie (a one stop solution payment service provider); they doubled their customer base, doubled the amount of Dutch transactions and the Belgian transactions grew sevenfold. 2016, and spring in special, will be all about new innovations to the platform, kicking off by cutting their transactions costs almost in half. Dutch iDeal payments are down to 29 cents from a previous 45 cents and the fees from other major payment services have been drastically reduced as well.

The exponential growth in 2015 has enabled the company to invest in more efficient processes, reducing operating costs. While they could have kept the larger margins to themselves they like to pay back to the entrepreneurs using the platform, allowing them to grow further.

This major price cut is not the only good news for users of the platform. Starting March 1st, entrepreneurs have the option to personalize and professionalize their website with Mollie’s Checkout. Online shopping will be easier for customers as the system is very user friendly, remembers credentials and uses a responsive design on all devices. This one click-checkout, together with the lower fees will make 2016 a good year for Mollie and its customers.
