08 Apr Seedcamp invites application for pre-seed funding
Seedcamp has invited applications from next generation tech entrepreneurs for pre-seed investments in their start-ups. The deadline to apply for this round of funding is 24th April 2016. Seedcamp has a powerful platform to support start-ups looking for pre-seed and seed investments based on their experience and learning’s while funding and building the foundation for nearly 200 companies. The platform is built on 3 key pillars: Learning, Network & Support and Capital.
Seedcamp has 3 ways of investing in the start-ups. For Pre-seed investments, if start-up already has cash and don’t need the funding they can opt for 3% warrant and if they are looking for cash Seedcamp can fund upto EUR 75,000 for 7% equity stake. For seed investments, Seedcamp invest in companies raising rounds between EUR 300 to EUR 2 million. In this funding, they usually follow and do not usually set the terms.
Seedcamp funding programme includes:
- Seedcamp Academy: Seedcamp is the most networked funds globally. On a monthly basis, many notable come and speak on the obstacles companies face from the product/market fit stage to the traction and growth stages.
- US Trip: Seedcamp companies spend 3-4 weeks in different part of US twice in a year where they meet and interact with potential investors.
- Mentoring: Seedcamp companies receive mentoring from investors, corporates, product engineers, human resources specialists, and legal specialists.
- Investor Day: On this day the companies have a chance to interact 1:1 on how they are doing with the top investors in the Seedcamp.
- Founders Pack: Free or reduced rate of services of more than EUR 200,000 for the Seedcamp companies by Seedcamp Sponsors and Partners.
- Co-working Space: Start-ups have access to spaces in London, Europe or US via select partners where you have like-minded people working and sharing ideas.
