22 Jan Technology innovation: Changes and risks for the financial sector

On January 21^st, the Standing Committee for Finance of the Dutch Lower House of the States General organised a round-table session on technological innovation in the Dutch financial sector (FinTech). Panel members were asked beforehand to express their views on Fintech in a position paper (see download; In Dutch).

The Dutch National Bank (DNB) published the research report, which forms the basis for the position paper. This report elaborates on the most important risks and opportunities for the Dutch financial sector resulting from new technological developments. As an answer the bank has crafted a set of 3 actions it will follow to build on the opportunities (see download; In Dutch).
