Holland FinTech is proud to have The Master in International Finance (MIF) from the Amsterdam Business School (part of the University of Amsterdam) as it’s first academic partner. Ranked 5th best post-experience Master in Finance worldwide (Financial Times), the program features a recently established new Fintech track which reflects the latest developments in the finance industry. The strategic partnership will strengthen ties between the academic world and the FinTech community.
The first collaborative effort of this new partnership was a joint speaker event with students, alumni, and industry leaders at the Amsterdam Business School on Friday October 13th hosted by Don Ginsel (Holland FinTech) & Jens Martin (MIF). Every second Friday of the month Holland Fintech organises a meetup, hosted by one of the members, where everyone is free to join and learn more about the fintech scene. This month the meetup was focused on the disruptive forces of cryptocurrencies. Both experts and startups have shared their insights about whether or not bitcoin and other cryptos are merely a hype or here to stay. More information about this and other meetups can be found here. We look back on an interesting and insightful meetup which will provide basis for future collaboration between Holland Fintech and the Master in International Finance (MIF)”
