Trading app BUX secures EUR 10.6 million, launches crowdfunding campaign

After raising EUR 10.6 million in a Series C funding round, BUX, app-driven stock trading start-up, launches a crowdfunding campaign facilitated by the funding platform Seedrs.

The funding round was led by HV Holtzbrinck Ventures and supported by Velocity Capital. The secured funds will be used to undertake product expansion.

The crowdfunding campaign, now at its pre-registration stage, allows for now over one million of users to purchase shares of the start-up. In the 24 hours following the opening, the company already raised EUR 7 million.

BUX is a free stock trading community-based app focused on customer experience. Based in Amsterdam, it is used by a wide range of users, targeting novice and professionals. The app is meant to protect users from irresponsible decision and encourages safe trading.
