Otly is presenting at the United Nations General Conference of the Industrial Development Organization.
The 17th session of the General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) is this week promoting sustainable development. UNIDO has said that ‘economic structural transformation … needs to be placed at the core of SDG (sustainable development goals) implementation’ making it a great place for Otly to present their fintech education solution.
Holland Fintech member Otly is a bank for children, run by parents. Otly helps parents teach their children about money, filling the void they perceive as left by banks and educators. The program includes child-friendly education which explains concepts of digital money, periodic income, the value of savings and wealth distribution, among others. For their work they have received a World Summit Award in the Mobile category which gave them the opportunity to present at this UNIDO today.
