On January 18th, regulatory and compliance consultant Simon Lelieveldt will give a public lecture regarding the development of the retail payments industry over the last century, in which he will focus in particular on the technological, economic and regulatory interactions that shaped the Dutch market. Additionally, he will share some insights from his upcoming publication on the development of Dutch retail payments from 1900 onwards. The lecture will be held at The Hague Campus of the Leiden University, at Schouwburgstraat 2 in The Hague. The event will take place from 14.00 – 15.00 with coffee afterwards.
