The two Holland FinTech members are working together within Startupbootcamp’s Amsterdam-based FinTech & CyberSecurity programme. The collaboration includes mentoring, consulting, and providing certification for startups and scaleups in financial services. Capgemini will establish a certification process for fintech and cyber security scaleups along with embedding a member of its organisation within startups and being a “partner in residence” in Startupbootcamp. Here, senior staff members from Capgemini will work on-site at the Startupbootcamp offices in Amsterdam. Lastly, Capgemini’s innovation experts will also provide consulting and mentoring services regarding business processes, go-to-market strategies, and technology to startups. Elias Ghanem, fintech head at Capgemini, says the following about the partnership:
Being aligned with Startupbootcamp, one of the premier accelerator networks, gives us a seat at the table with innovative fintech and cyber security companies that are changing the technology landscape in Financial Services. Through this alliance, we will be able to contribute to the ongoing dialogue in the industry, and also help to counsel and consult with the burgeoning fintech community.
Michael Dooijes, who serves as the managing director of Startupbootcamp’s Fintech & CyberSecurity programme gives his remarks on the collaboration: “At Startupbootcamp we really like the approach that Capgemini takes to looking at startups in terms of their technology, people, and financing to rate how easy they are for corporates to work with. We believe that this type of due diligence is exactly what our partners are looking for”.
