Insurtech is increasingly seen as a transformative force. Insurers are investing more and more in digital technologies that allow better insights into risk. To stay in the know for insurtech, here are the top 10 insurtech events to attend in the new year.

 

Insurance Vectors in Play: Risk, Technology, Engagement, February 27th-28th, Toronto

The 2018 Technology Conference from Insurance Canada will discuss risk, technology and engagement. Cyber exposure and other new risks are challenging insurers to develop new products and services. Innovative products and omni-channel facilities are required to maintain customer engagement. In addition, digital technologies are resulting in intelligent application of data to assess risk and insurance cover. ABI Annual Conference 2018, February 27th, London

This conference will bring industry leaders, politicians and regulators together to debate the major issues affecting the insurance and long term savings industry. A keynote speech will be given by Sam Woods, Deputy Governor for Prudential Regulation at the Bank of England and Chief Executive Officer of the PRA. ITIC Americas, March 3rd-6th, New Orleans

Global Health Insurance Conference, March 22nd, Prague

This two day conference in Dubai will draw connections between regtech and fintech and will discuss the transformative effect of technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, big data analytics, biometrics. Digital Transformation in Insurance, May 2nd-3rd, London

ITIC UK, May 3rd, Bristol
