Saxo Payments Banking Circle, the ground-breaking financial utility, is set to repeat its award success of 2017 with two new award nominations. The Banking Circle Virtual IBAN has been shortlisted for two FSTech awards, namely ‘Financial Sector Innovation of the Year’ and the ‘Most Innovative Product of the Year’. This is in addition to two other nominations in the 2018 Card and Payments Awards.

According to Anders la Cour, co-founder and CEO of Saxo Payments Banking Circle. the Banking Circle Virtual IBAN is ‘the first multi-currency Virtual IBAN to be offered to the payments industry by a non-bank’ which offers a unique solution for financial institutions that does not necessitate any significant investment in resources or systems.

Winners of the 18th FSTech Awards will be announced in March at a ceremony in London. The awards seek to recognise excellence and innovation in IT in the UK and EMEA FS sector. The ‘Financial Sector Innovation of the Year’ award will be conferred to an outstanding Financial Services organisation that has created an innovative new line of business, profitably and sustainably setting them apart from the competition. On the other hand, the ‘Most Innovative Product of the Year’ award will be conferred to an outstanding company which has innovatively responded to market pressures with originality and creativity in the FS sector.
