NEOS and Schroders join forces with KKR

NEOS, the Rotterdam headquartered direct lending firm providing tailored and flexible financing solutions to businesses, has recently announced its private segment SME lending program. This is reported to be the largest program of its kind so far within continental Europe.

The lending program aims to provide growth finance to Dutch, German, and Belgian businessess, with no prioritisation of any specific industry segment. However, the fund hopes to attract promising companies especially in the ”new economy” sectors, such as energy transition, circular models, high tech, e-automotive, etc.

The lead investor KKR is a global investment firm heaquartererd in New York, that is managing several alternative asset classes, including private equity, energy, infrastructure, real estate and credit, and some strategic partnerships that manage hedge funds. Additionally, the global asset manager firm Schroders, that is headquartered in London and an institutional sharehoder of NEOS, also invests in the fund.

The lending program is currently running.
