Rabobank is continuing its partnership with Tellow, the Dutch automated accounting app for entrepreneurs letting them to know when the invoices have been paid, and automatically processes the scanned receipt. The partnership is aiming to support all freelancers (”ZZP”) in the Netherlands with their online book-kepings, whether the freelancers are Rabobank’s customers or not.
”With innovative solutions such as Tellow, we are fulfilling our mission to help entrepreneurs grow.” states Kirsten Konst, Head of Commercial Banking at Rabobank. ”Tellow offers digital convenience and makes book-keeping simple, giving self-employed professionals more time to grow their business”, she continues. ”The spin-off shows that Tellow is ready for the next stage.”
It is reported that Tellow has more than 15,000 registered users currently. ”We see that the number of freelancers is growing.”, observes Roel Smelt, CEO of Tellow. ”With Tellow, we can ease their administrative work, allowing freelancers to spend more time on what they are good at, practice their profession.”
Freelancers are identifed in the Netherlands as Zelfstandige Zonder Personeel, or ZZP’er, who are self-employed Dutch or expat entreprenurs, and are not committed to a single employer or client. Under Dutch law, ZZPs are a business of their own.
