EBPI acquired by Visma

The European Business Process Institute (EBPI), a Netherlands-based cloud software provider specialising in software-as-a service, was taken over by Visma, a Norway-headquartered business software provider.

The deal was confirmed on 20 December 2018 and will undergo review from EBPI’s work councils. The details of the transaction will not be disclosed.

EBPI general manager, Coen Egberink, remarked that the two companies share the same vision regarding technological development, and with the partnership EBPI sees opportunities to increase its value proposition for both its domestic and international customers.

Visma also acquired other Dutch software companies in 2018, such as Raet, Proactive, Idella, and Pink Web. The purchase of EPBI increases Visma’s presence in the Netherlands, expanding the sectors it’s involved in in the country.
