Alektum acquires Belgian credit management company

Alektum is a Sweden-based financial services organisation providing a number of services, including factoring and financing, debt collection, debt purchase, and credit scoring. The Group took over the Belgian division of Vesting Finance, a credit management services company and subsidiary of Arrow Global PLC.

 The deal went into effect 31 December 2018.

Mats Augurell states that the acquisition of Vesting Finance, which is a major player in the Belgian market, is “integral” to its growth strategy and “by capitalising of operating synergies, we see a huge potential to increased operational efficiency and a broader range of high-quality services for our customers”.  He also stated the deal will help his company grow in the region.

Jan Verrept, country manager for Alektum Group, noted that the acquisition helps position Alketum “as one of the major players in the Belgian market”.
