In the partnership with Microsoft, Newgen Payments’ merchant portal, Guru, became listed on Microsoft’s Azure marketplace.
Newgen’s SaaS, Guru, which complements their merchant payments gateway, allows merchants to not only utilise their clients’ payments data (compliantly) but leverage it to improve UX. Guru allows the facilitation of split payments (particularly important in the Netherlands to ‘go dutch’) and flash checkouts, which save user information to expedite future purchases. Besides the basics, Newgen encourages merchants to incorporate their payments portal into a wider brand marketing opportunity with the fully customisable user interface builder. Recognition for their propulsion of payments as more than just a compulsory incidental to UX, came from the Merchant Payments Ecosystem who awarded them “MPE Influencer of the Year”.
