A joint submission from Innovalor and iProov has secured top honours in the category of ‘Best Use of IT in Retail Banking & Insurance‘. Their joint service, which is used by ING amongst other banks,  provide self-service mobile on-boarding with superior security, user convenience and straight-through processing .

Innovalor are pioneers in the digital trust world, with ReadID being their marquee product that digitally verifies identity documents via smartphone. The key to their success was collaboration and joint innovation, as Innovalor’s digital verification service was paired with iProov‘s matching software and lifeness checking, to better service the banking industry.

They have also recently announced ReadID has been secured by the UK Home Office to enable EU citizens to verify their identity, conduct liveness checks and biometric analysis via a smartphone app as they apply for UK immigration status. This comes as the EU Settlement Scheme was opened on March 30 to enable the roughly 3.8 million EU citizens and their family members resident in the UK to obtain the UK immigration status required to live and work in the UK after the UK leaves the EU.
