Google testing voice commands for payments

A small selection of purchases across a few categories in the google store and stores affiliated with the g-pay system can now be completed using the Google Assistant. The idea is that the voice confirmation acts as a paymetns authorization tool in the way a PIN code or password would on a device. The early stage pilot program works with in-app purchases and restaurant orders for now, and has pre-set limits per transaction. As tech and payments become more and more seamless, we can expect more functionalities like this to enter our day-to-day lives and for hardware based tech to take a back-seat to cloud bases, omnipresent services that respond to human interaction in an organic way.
