Fintech company Ohpen acquires industry peer Davinci

AMSTERDAM (AFN / BLOOMBERG) – Fintech company Ohpen acquires industry peer Davinci. Financial details of the deal are not disclosed.The combined company employs 350 people. Davinci employs 200 people in Amsterdam, Antwerp and Bratislava, among others. Ohpen and Davinci have a combined turnover of 35 million euros. The two will, before targeting other markets, focus on the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Belgium.Davinci supplies banking software for Aegon, BNP Paribas and NN Group, among others. According to Het Financieele Dagblad, the acquisition is being financed by Ohpen’s shareholders, Alex Mulder’s investment funds Amerborgh and NPM-Capital, the investment fund of the Fentener van Vlissingen family.
