An invitation: Vision and Program for 2021

What to expect:

We enable the digital exchange of insights and connections and will revert to physical events as soon as possible. Besides Flash Friday, Meetups, and roundtables, Amsterdam Fintech Week will again be organized by us in June 2021. We will connect internationally and organize several exchanges between companies and matchmaking. We will besides that create a more structural member input via interest groups, committees, and working groups, in association with the new board. We will set up continuous reporting about the developments of the fintech ecosystem, as well as entry-level and expert insights about the expectations for the future. We will keep on investing in digital tools to enable remote business and besides that focus on supporting startups as well as a positive impact with the knowledge, connections, and technologies we have available.

The structure:

We have seen over the years, that the needs of our program may change rapidly, to be able to provide relevant content and connections. Of course, we have several fixed elements that can be planned ahead, but we also want to help you in the planning, by fixing the structure somewhat. That means that you can expect several elements to return on a fixed schedule, while the content changes. We aim to provide appropriate networking (online – while necessary) with each event. Here is the schedule we foresee right now, so you can book your calendar.

  • Tuesdays 9:00 - 10:30 will be the fixed slot for round tables
  • Thursdays 16:00 – 18:00 will be the fixed slot for insight events
  • Fridays 9:30 – 10:00 will be for Flash Friday, our weekly news background fireside chat
  • Every second Friday of the month 16:00 – 17:30 will be our meetup with pitches and insights

The invitation

We invite you to provide feedback and provide us with ideas beyond our program for 2021 as presented here, as all rely on our understanding of your needs and wishes. So, this is foremost a call out, to invite you to tell us what you would like to learn about, who you would like to hear from, what you would like to discuss with whom, and who you would like to meet. Also, if you are organizing any events on your own, or are creating content or doing research, we are keen to advise you and see how we can support you. Tell us all about it, via your account manager or via one of the contact forms on our site.

In any case will our board, once installed end of January 2021, have a say in the content of the program. Therefore, we especially wish to share our ambition with you today, as shown in the image. But we hope that this setup, of focus on transformation, collaboration, representation, and impact, help you understand what we have to offer, as well as hopefully spark your imagination to get involved or approach us to organize something together.
