BISAM started a market expansion initiative targeting small and medium medium-sized investment and asset management consultancies. Their existing solution was outdated. Moreover, the outcome metrics have become irrelevant to the new target market. Thus, the company had to transform their standalone enterprise software to a web-based solution to address the changing customer needs in terms of simplicity, flexibility, and scalability and to empower a data-driven decision making and transparent investment process. “The main technological challenge was the legacy Java-based back-end landscape. The Solution
ScaleFocus’ team was an integral part of the front-end development of the web portal called B-One. Our team simplified and optimized its features using a variety of front-end technologies like Highcharts, Chai, Mocha, Stylus and more. “Their team adapted quickly to our in-house business and technological specifics. Our team developed an interactive and device-friendly user interface which supports multi-touch gestures and touch-optimized charts. Its advanced responsiveness determines the native user experience on mobile and touch screens. The new user interface of the web portal enhances not only its performance management features but also its forecasting capabilities while achieving scalability and operational efficiency.
