Inverid develops trusted identity verification for everyone with a smartphone and an electronic identity document. This technology, called ReadID, is the most convenient, secure, and scalable solution for identification challenges. Used by leading banks, governmental organisations, digital signature services, and many others worldwide.

Inverid was originally called InnoValor. The company, founded in 2013, has about 70 employees who serve an international customer base from its offices in Enschede (HQ),
London, and Valencia. Inverid were the first to offer NFC identity verification on smartphones in 2014 and expanded to iOS in 2019.

Inverid works closely together with leading providers of biometric technology (face verification) and optical verification (fall-back for non-chipped documents) from an
orchestration role, to provide customers with an end-to-end solution.
