Dear fintech reader,
This week, the European Union has published a draft of climate change proposals pushing towards its goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050. The proposals include taxing jet fuel and effectively banning the sale of petrol and diesel powered cars within 20 years. In Netherlands, the numbers of Covid-19 cases are rapidly increasing, due to the early lift of restrictions by the Dutch government, which have partly been reversed already.
