Who is Holland FinTech?

Holland FinTech is the association for organizations in FinTech and financial innovation in the Netherlands. We are based in Amsterdam and offer an ecosystem approach to help our members deal with the rapid changes and innovations in Digital Finance. Our member base consists of over 300 cool startups, scaleups, and incumbent players originating from all sorts of relevant actors and stakeholders within the financial services industry. And we are growing! 

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Dutch & English speaking part-time (16 - 32 hours) Business Manager to support our team with various tasks. The ideal candidate is a strong team player with a hands-on mentality, eager to understand and improve the key business processes of the organization. There is plenty of room to take on responsibility and help shape the work that will take our organization forward. 

What you need to bring…

  • A university or a university of applied science degree (or similar)
  • 3+ years experience
  • Strong team focus and keen on understanding what drives our performance
  • Self-starter attitude and an eye for improvements 
  • Preferably some experience with Finance, HR and Office Management
  • Great verbal and written communication. 
  • Excellent time management & prioritization skills. 
  • You know your way around Microsoft Office suite and/or Google for Business;
  • You feel comfortable or learn fast to work with online tools like Asana, Mailchimp, and WordPress.

What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for:

  • Management support with strategy & progress reporting, organizing and planning meetings, task and project planning
  • Recruitment and HR tasks
  • Invoicing and financial administration
  • Budget and cost management
  • Managing the agendas of internal & external meetings including minutes
  • Keeping our (virtual) office in order
  • Mailbox management
  • Building  good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

We will be specifying the tasks in accordance with your experience and the time available. 

You will be part of a small international team and closely work together with the CEO, Senior management and team members who are responsible for business functions like Events, Sales, Marketing & Comms and Community Management. Since we are a small team, you will take on much responsibility and therefore there is no better place to grow your skills, network, and experience than at Holland Fintech.
