Finturi – A Dutch fintech startup making invoice financing secure, low-cost, quick and easy with the use of blockchain and artificial intelligence completed its first year on the 1st of September 2019. Startup’s first year is exciting as well as overwhelming, and same was the case for us at Finturi. Entrepreneurship is a roller coaster journey and no matter how much experience you have, no matter how many businesses you have started, it never gets easier. It is a journey full of challenges, but the fulfillment which you get at the end of it makes the journey worth it!  

As we complete one year, we would like to share with you, some of our learnings during the past year! 

Focus on your customer: 

Put the customer at the center of your universe. Success doesn’t depend on technology. It depends on meaningful problem-solving which can be achieved only when you build products keeping customer in the mind. So, do user research, collect feedback and iterate. 

Build a strong team 

Great companies are built by teams not individuals. In order to achieve your business goals, surround yourself with people who understand your vision and fit into the culture and mindset of your company.

Get comfortable with being uncomfortable 

Startup life is always going to throw new and unknown challenges at you. Get comfortable dealing with it. 

Don’t shy away from bartering 

You have knowledge, skills, resources or even contacts that other entrepreneurs may want and vice versa. Find out what other entrepreneurs need and see what you might provide them in exchange for something you are lacking on your end. 

Innovate don’t replicate 

Instead of just replicating solutions that already exist in the market, be innovative. Use new technologies in order to solve real-world challenges, optimise processes and make people’s lives easier. At Finturi, we use technologies like blockchain and artificial intelligence to make invoice financing, secure, low-cost, quick and easy.
