The City of The Hague and The Hague Business Agency teamed up to organize Fast Forward The Hague Challenge and take The Hague’s best startups and scale-ups to the Web Summit in Lisbon from 4-7 November. A pitch competition was organized, and the city’s Top10 startups were selected to be a part of The Hague Delegation to attend the world’s largest technology conference.

Holland Fintech member and a leading Dutch Fintech Startup Finturi was designated as one of the winners and shall be attending the Web Summit to showcase its innovation to a plethora of investors, media and potential clients. Finturi has built a state-of-the-art invoice finance platform that combines innovative artificial intelligence-powered risk-scoring techniques and blockchain technology to provide secure financing efficiently to small and medium-sized enterprises and deliver a great risk-weighted return to the financiers for this asset class.

Named as ‘The best technology conference on the planet’ by Forbes, Web Summit is an annual technology conference held in Lisbon and considered the largest tech event in the world. It brings Fortune 500 companies, groundbreaking startups and world-class speakers to Lisbon.
