The Royal Dutch professional organisation of accountants (NBA) organises Open Podium Accounttech in order to provide a platform for innovative technological ideas, start-up initiatives and technology already used by the frontrunners. By organizing the Open Podium Accounttech, the NBA aims to advance, accelerate and above all make visible the technological applications in accountancy profession. For the year 2020, a representation of the NBA Young Profs and the Open Podium Forum have selected ten entries that will pitch live on June 25 during the online Open Podium event.
Holland Fintech member Finturi is one of the 10 selected entries, and will be pitching live on stage. Finturi has built a state-of-the-art invoice finance platform that combines innovative artificial intelligence-powered risk-scoring techniques and blockchain technology to provide secure financing efficiently to small and medium-sized enterprises and deliver a great risk-weighted return to the financiers for this asset class. Finturi received an approval from the Dutch regulator AFM early this year and has since then helped quite a few SMEs in the Netherlands to get working capital.
