Frankfurt am Main, January 26, 2021 – The Frankfurt Digital Finance Conference brings together leading European and international start-ups, financial service providers, academics and politicians with investors and entrepreneurs. On February 3, 2021 the conference will meet for the second time, this time on the new virtual conference platform – a European hub for digital finance. The platform will be a forum for 50 world class speakers and more than 1,000 guests.
The Berlin start-up scene will heed the call to attend in Frankfurt on February 3, 2021, including a couple of start-ups, each with a market valuation of over a billion US dollars before prior to their IPO. A European/International community is growing in the digital financial ecosystem of Frankfurt. “Our goal is to make a significant contribution to Frankfurt becoming the European hub for digital finance,” says Corinna Egerer, founder of Frankfurt Digital Finance.
The concept first demonstrated in 2020 has proven to be a great success: start-ups find business partners and investors find ways to grow their opportunities faster. Established financial service providers find the forum on innovation for their business model. “We were there with start-ups from our funding program,” reports one participant from last year. “It was amazing how many contacts were made in one day – a job that normally takes three months.”
The main topics that are defining the digital transformation of the financial industry are on the agenda for 2021: Artificial intelligence, cryptocurrencies, green finance and female founders in the FinTech industry.
And avant-garde formats such as ‘Gaming versus the Financial Industry’ for a conversation that incorporates start-up dynamics on the one hand and established banking on the other.
