Dotslash & Eyevestor lanceren nieuw funding platform (Dotslash)

UTRECHT, SEPTEMBER 14, 2023 – Dotslash , the startup and scale-up hub in the Utrecht region, and the online funding platform Eyevestor are joining forces and will soon launch the Dotslash Funding Platform . The platform supports all current and future Dotslashers in easily digitizing and issuing shares for employee participation and growth capital. The startups and scale-ups are supported free of charge by Dotslash partners Rabobank and Deloitte. Read more

Amsterdam’s Techleap.nl and Dutch Govt join forces to elevate the country’s tech industry (Silicon Canals)

Amsterdam-based Techleap.nl, a non-profit organisation, announced on September 15 that it has signed a new three-year agreement with the Dutch government to help build a strong tech sector in the Netherlands. Constantijn Van Oranje-Nassau, Envoy at Techleap.nl, announced this development via a LinkedIn post. He says, “I am happy to drop our working title Techleap2.0 and revert back to Techleapnl. We welcome a new leadership team with Maarten Cleeren, Hadewych Corstens and Myrthe Hooijman.” Read more

Budget Day 2023: What we know so far and what to expect (NL Times)

The parliamentary year starts with Budget Day today. Due to the Cabinet’s outgoing status, it will be less exciting than other years. The political parties are mainly focused on the parliamentary elections on November 22. During the speech from the throne, the King will discuss the Cabinet’s plans. Minister Sigrid Kaag (Finance) will then present the 2024 Budget. It is primarily a “poor policy” budget because the coalition of VVD, D66, CDA, and ChristenUnie has fallen and can’t make significant policy changes in its caretaker capacity without parliament’s consent.
